CUP is seeking a fall intern to provide support for the organization and our Community Education programs.

Our fall intern will assist with several projects, including:

+ Research for updates to our What Is Affordable Housing? Toolkit

+ Support for evaluation efforts for our Making Policy Public and Public Access Design programs

+ General project support, as needed. This may include research, database and website upkeep, and administrative work

We are looking for a detail-oriented candidate with excellent verbal and written communication skills—a friendly phone manner is a must. Previous experience working with community or advocacy organizations is a plus. Demonstrated academic and/or policy research experience is required for this position.

Position dates are flexible, based on the candidate’s availability, with an anticipated start date in September. We’re looking for candidates who can be in the office at least two days a week. The internship pays $11 hourly, or interns can choose to receive school credit if their school offers it.

Please send a resume, letter of interest, and contact information for two references as one PDF (not to exceed 3MB) to apply@welcometocup.org by 5pm on Wednesday, August 30th. Please use the subject line “CUP Fall Intern.”

No phone calls, please.

CUP is an equal opportunity employer and strongly encourages people of color, women, LGBTQ, and disabled candidates to apply.
