CUP receives Core 77 Design Awards

CUP receives Core 77 Design Awards

We're excited and honored to announce that CUP has received three Core 77 Design Awards!

The award commends our Urban Investigations program in the field of Educational Initiatives. Exemplifying the importance of the Urban Investigation program jurors noted, “The fact that this project introduces all this at an early stage, allowing children and young adults to participate in social challenges that they may have previously been sheltered from or felt powerless to support is highly recommendable.” The jury also stated, " We really liked this entry because it gives the tools to the kids to participate, offering empowerment and an introduction to the basic foundation of life long learning, not only for interacting with(in) the city but also for general life."

Showcasing excellence across the discourse of design, the Core 77 Design Awards also awarded runner-up positions to two of our other projects, the What’s in the Water issue of Making Policy Public and the Urban Investigation project, Power Trip
