CUP is seeking a fall intern

CUP is seeking a fall intern

CUP is seeking a fall intern to assist with several projects, including:

+ Research/general project support on CUP's Community Education tools

+ Design production work for print using Adobe CS products

+ Production work on our education tools, including painting, assembling, silkscreening, etc

+ Digital archiving of past Youth Education projects

+ General project support, as needed. This may include research, database and website upkeep, and administrative work

We are looking for an intern with a background in policy, planning, or urban studies with proficiency in research. Previous experience working with community or advocacy organizations is useful; excellent verbal and written communication skills and a friendly phone manner are a must.

Position dates are flexible, based on the candidate's availability, but we anticipate a start date in late September. We're looking for candidates who can be in the office at least two days a week, over the course of 12 weeks. The internship pays $11 hourly, or interns can choose to receive school credit if their school offers it.
