Let’s Hang Out! Debut Presentation

Let's Hang Out! Debut Presentation

On March 21st high school students from Life Science Secondary School debuted their latest investigation, Let’s Hang Out!

The students teamed up with CUP and Teaching Artist Stephen Kwok to investigate how loitering laws impact New Yorkers. They created public art interventions, surveyed community members near their school, and interviewed key stakeholders working on the issue including representatives from Picture the Homeless, NYCLU, and the Anti-Violence Project. Students debuted the booklet they created and shared their creative process in a public presentation at the 96th Street Library.
