Power Trip at Urban Future Lab

Power Trip at Urban Future Lab

CUP's Deputy Director, Valeria Mogilevich, will be presenting a lecture on Power Trip, our Urban Investigation project exploring NYC's energy infrastructure. Power Trip was a collaboration of CUP, teaching artist Samantha Contis, and NYC public high school students. The investigation resulted in an educational poster and booklet answering the question: Where does our electricity come from? To get to the source of NYC's power supply, students went beyond the classroom, interviewing important stakeholders, and visiting several power plants.

May 21 at 6pm
Urban Future Lab, 15 Metrotech Center, 19th Floor, Brooklyn, NY
