Start Your Fall with Student Debut Presentations!

Over the summer students were hard at work using art, design, and collaborative research to investigate social justice issues impacting their communities. Mark your calendars and join us for two exciting debut presentations!

Join us for the world premiere of Puff Puff Passed! Over the summer, CUP collaborated with Teaching Artist Elliott Golden and students from the Red Hook Community Justice Center (RHCJC) to investigate the impacts of marijuana legalization on New Yorkers. Join us on Tuesday, October 5th at 5:30PM EST on Zoom for the debut of their final project!

Teaching Artist Hugo Rojas and students from the Fannie Lou Hamer Freedom High School spent the summer exploring the how poverty impacts mental health in the Bronx. We hope you’ll join us on Wednesday, October 6th at 5:30PM on Zoom for their final presentation!

These events are free and open to the public.

Please email RSVP@welcometoCUP.org and tell us which student event you’d like to join. You will receive Zoom login information for the event at least 24 hours beforehand.
