Students launch final projects

We just wrapped up two in-class projects at International Community High School (ICHS). In collaboration with CUP, in-class teachers, and Teaching Artists, students from ICHS investigated:

·      How do suspensions impact students and the school community?

·      Who makes decisions about public art and where it goes?

During the project, students interviewed stakeholders from community based organizations, surveyed community members about their opinions, and created booklets that outlined their findings. Pictured above are students showing off their final product for “Is Suspension The Solution?”
