“Who Decides Who Rides?” Panel Discussion

Jeff Maki, one of the CUP teaching artists who worked on Fast Tracked, our Urban Investigation on the extension of the 7 line, was part of a panel looking at how transportation decisions are made.

The panel examined the role of artists in transportation design and advocacy, and utopian versus practical ideas for new transportation systems in New York City.

Jeff was joined in conversation by representatives from the Department of Transportation’s Urban Art Program, Transportation Alternatives, and NYC Percent for Art. The panel was part of “Brooklyn Utopias: In TRANSITion,” a group show at Park Slope’s Old Stone House.
