Print Air It Out

In the Spring of 2013, CUP teaching artist Heidi Neilson worked with an 8th grade science class at Lyons Community School to explore “who is responsible for air quality in the school’s neighborhood.” The students went out of the classroom to take air quality readings and even interviewed an environmental lawyer. This booklet reports their findings on who’s responsible for air pollution in the neighborhood, and the different levels of people, government agencies, and businesses that are responsible for keeping it healthy for everyone.
