CUP and Teaching Artist Christopher Lopez are collaborating with classroom teacher Mr. Mark Leffler and his 12th grade computer science students at International Community High School (ICHS) in the Bronx to explore the issue of Big Data and its use by the NYPD.

Just before Covid struck, our board chair let us know he planned to step down soon. Two months later, we were in full quarantine mode, and he very generously agreed to stay on longer to help us navigate the pandemic and put our new leadership structure in place.
